Thanks for christening the blog, Rob. On a completely non-academic topic...if anyone is into mountain biking, Missoula has some spectacular trails. I'm Athena from University of Arizona. I'm a psychologist/biologist interested in decision-making about the future and the ways that individuals shape their local and global environments. I'll be arriving on Saturday evening (8:15) and would be very interested in coordinating transportation if possible.

Brian Smoliak from the UW in Seattle here. I'm an atmospheric scientist working on questions related to patterns of climate variability. In case anybody wants to hang out in town or get away on the weekend, I arrive late on Friday the 1st. Besides a cab or shuttle, be sure to check out the bus schedule too. Should be a great week in Missoula.

Hi, I am Amrita Hazra from Cornell University. I am a graduate student in Chemical Biology but have always been interested in Development Economis and more recently, have been following up with the debates over genetic modification in plant biotechnology. I am excited about the prospective of meeting like-minded students and am looking forward to all the classwork and the interactions at Missoula, and ofcourse the great outdoors!
